Anna Burn

I am a parent of two children currently in Year 4 and Year 2, and I am proud to serve as a Parent Governor for our school community. With 17 years of experience as a secondary school teacher, I bring a strong understanding of the education system, curriculum development, and the challenges and opportunities faced by both staff and pupils.

My professional background has given me extensive experience in supporting young people’s learning, promoting high standards, and working collaboratively with colleagues to create positive and inclusive school environments. I am passionate about ensuring that all children receive the best possible start in their education, and I am committed to contributing to the strategic direction of the school.

As a parent governor, I aim to represent the views of parents, support the leadership team, and help ensure that decisions made are in the best interests of all pupils. I have led on the Rights Respecting School agenda and understand the importance of embedding this through the school community and ethos.
