I joined the governing body as a parent governor in 2020 as both my children attended the Glebe, my youngest daughter still does and I wanted to be more closely involved with the school.
I grew up in Billingham and moved to Norton in 2008 and I know a lot of people with children at the school.
I work as a communications manager for a local chemical company and being a parent governor has given me a good insight into the complexities, challenges and also the positive elements of running a school. I hope by being on the governing body I can give a parents view on the strategic direction of the school.
