We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March by doing something a little different this year! We will be using the book ‘The Word Collector by Peter H Reynolds across the whole school to explore vocabulary. This book will be read to the children in assembly on the Monday we return after February half term. This will be a fantastic opportunity for children to share words, collect words and have fun with language. The book also has strong links to PSHE themes of individuality, similarities and difference and belonging and ties in our continuing work on Rights Respecting Schools.
