Dear Parents / Carers,

We will be holding this year’s winter fair over two nights to try and cut down on having a large number of people in school all at once! This year’s winter fairs will be held on Monday 28th November for children in Years 3 – 6 and Monday Wednesday 30th November for children in Nursery, Reception, Years 1 & 2. As in previous years, the Friends of The Glebe have given each class an enterprise donation to allow them to buy items to create crafts which they will sell at the fair. The class that raises the most money from their items will win a prize, so please support your child if you can!

Along with our enterprise stalls, we will be selling cakes, toys and raffle tickets for our winter-themed hampers (please see be-low for more details!). We will accept donations of cakes on the morning of each fair and donations of toys from tomorrow until Friday 25th November – a perfect excuse for a pre-Christmas clear out!

After the success of our winter-themed hampers in previous years, we will once again be making up themed hampers to raise additional funds for school. We ask each year group for the following donations if you are able to donate. Please send all dona-tions into school by Friday 25th November. This day will also be a non-uniform day as a thanks for your support with the fairs and raffle.

Raffle tickets for the hampers will go on sale in school on Monday 28th November and will cost £1 a strip – please send money to class teachers. Tickets will also be on sale at our winter fair! The raffle will be drawn on Friday 16th December and winners will be notified.

We do appreciate that the cost of living is rising. All donations are completely optional and we do not want parents to feel un-der additional financial pressures. If you are able to donate, this is very much appreciated and will help with an ever-shrinking school budget, however please only donate if you are able.

Thank you for your continued support. The Staff at The Glebe Primary School.
