It was wonderful to welcome more children into school on Monday 1st of June. The school has remained open throughout lockdown for Key Workers and vulnerable children, closing only for Good Friday, Easter Monday and the recent Bank Holiday.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the key workers on the front line as well as all the staff who have provided online work during this time and will continue to do so, whilst working hard to care for key worker children.

This week we welcomed back the Year 6 children and a class of Year 1 children. The key workers made a special mural to welcome them back.

The school still has a welcoming environment, but it is quite different for staff and children.

The staff have worked hard to make the environment as exciting as possible whilst ensuring the safety of everyone in the building.
