As a school we encourage the independence of our older pupils. Walking to school alone or with friends is an exciting prospect for the children, but road safety is a hugely important skill for the children to master. There is lots of excellent information available online to help parents with this transition and even helpful as a refresher for those already walking without adult supervision.
